Nakukuba na si itay sa katandaan ng makitira sa anak, manugang na babae, at edad- 4 na apo. Nanginginig ang kamay, nanlalabo ang paningin, nangangalog sa paglakad.
Hirap ang matanda kumain dahil sa nginig ng kamay at labo ng mata. Nalalaglag ang kanin sa sahig, natatapon ang inumin sa mantel.
Di nagtagal, naubos ang pasensiya ng anak at manugang na babae sa kalat sa kainan. "Dapat gawan ng paraan si itay, "anila,"di na namin kaya ang natatapong inumin, maingay na pagkain at kalat sa sahig."
Naglagay ang mag-asawa ng maliit na mesita sa sulok. Doon mag-isang kumakain ang matanda, habang nasa hapag kainan ang mag-anak. At dahil nakabasag na siya ng ilang plato, inilalagay ang pagkain niya sa isang mangkok na kahoy.
Paminsan-minsan nililingon ng mag-anak si Tanda, at paminsan-minsan din ay may luhang namumuo sa gilid ng mata niya. Gayunpaman, ang maririnig lang mula sa mag-asawa ay maaanghang na salita tuwing malalaglag niya ang kutsara o makakalat ang pagkain.
Ang lahat ng ito ay tahimik lang na pinagmamasdan ng edad-4 na bata. Isang dapithapon, bago maghapunan, napansin ng ama ang bata na may pinaglalaruang retaso ng kahoy sa sahig. " Anong ginagawa mo?" malambing niyang inusisa ang bata. At buong lambing itong tumugon: "Gumagawa po ako ng maliit na mangkok na kahoy para pakakainan ninyo ni Mama sa sulok kapag malaki na ako." Ang laki ng ngiti ng bata habang itinutuloy ang ginagawa.
Parang batong tumama sa ulo ng mga magulang ang salita ng bata. Hindi sila nakakibo. Dumaloy lang ang luha sa kanilang pisngi. Wala ng usapan, pero batid na nila ang dapat gawin.
Nang maghahapunan na, inakay ng mag-asawa si Itay pabalik sa hapag- kainan. Sa lahat ng nalabing araw niya, doon na siya muli kumain, kasabay ng pamilya. at hindi na muli umangal ang mag-asawa tungkol sa kutsara, natatapon na inumin o nakakalat na mumo sa sahig.

Technology Application
As an Agriculture Teacher, I find the technology (the websites,blogs, emails and other net features)very helpful in data generation and information dissemination. By the tip of a finger, I could inform many about anything of interest, something that could change life for better, something that could change one's outlook in life, something that would help our province transform into a better place to live in and move out from the list of poorest provinces in the country.
If hopefully I could finish my program here, I could inform many of what we are presently doing,what we plan to do and how we will do it in the college. With the present scenario where almost all areas in the province are installed of relay stations, internet becomes accessible and finding it to be the best way to reach others; know what they are doing and what I do, we can integrate and pool our collective resources to help our province improve vis a vis concerted efforts. It will take time, I know, its rather waiting for something to happen because you have started than waiting for things to happen expecting others to do it.
As I always reiterate with my co-teachers; " If we have been doing the same thing every day of our life, then, we have not accomplished anything. With the fast emerging technologies, let us work together, for after all; WE WILL PASS THIS GATE BUT ONCE, ANY GOOD THEREFORE THAT WE CAN DO, LET US DO IT NOW, LET US NOT DIFFER;FOR WE WILL NOT PASS THIS WAY AGAIN!"

Perspective on Technology
I never had any information about doing a blog. Honestly, this is my first time to know about blogs and all I know are emails and websites but not much knowledge of having them. I only had my email here lately. It is probably because we have no internet connection in the province(in Romblon State College, Sawang Campus where I serve).
By now, I realize how borderless one could be and reaching the farthest without lifting a leg. I had mailed to one of my students before who is now in Germany as a Research fellow and finding many benefits of knowing many in the web.
I find the technology very helpful and the quality of what one does with the technology would simply become a replica of the depth of knowledge one has gained, some kind of personality shift; wider perspective, neutrality in dealing with people, understanding other's situations and enjoying what we have in our country(as compared to others who grew on war torne countries) despite our being in the third world. Its understanding that despite being in a poor country, we still have much more than others have in their respective countries. It still is a must for one to keep abreast of the most recent technologies and making use of them productively and help others benefit from such use. I have encouraged my wife and children to use the computer that we may see each other while on chat, you know, to ease the pain of home sickness other than text on cell. By now, she'd been asking me of many things about what and how far computers and web could go and I enjoy it; as if I almost know all that my wife should regarding the technology.

Experiences in Computer Class
It was just a mere knowledge that the subject was required and so I enrolled. I felt very shy the first day having no knowledge of the terms my professor had been using. I even went to the extent of requesting him for an excuse in attending the regular class schedule due to my other subjects. On second thought, I found the subject very useful because we were required of outputs that would make one work and learn by himself and it happened to me. A lot of improvements on the way my class presentations were made doing an output in the computer subject and working on my report in other subjects at the same time. The strategies of Doc Reggie worked. He need not to motivate one but simply required us and "presto," we came to realize the importance of attending and not missing class sked in computer.
